Edmond Early Childhood Center -

Meet the Teacher is Tuesday, August 12th from 3:30-6:00 pm. This is a come and go event where parents can walk their child to their classroom, drop off school supplies and visit with the teacher. Parents also have the option to purchase school t-shirts and Full Day PreK families can also purchase Nap Mats. See you soon!

Our office is closed this summer, but here is some helpful information about how to enroll even when we're on break. To find more information or enroll online go to edmondschools.net/enroll. For help in-person a district wide central enrollment office will be open July 7th-17th at Edmond Memorial HS.

Full Day Pups enjoyed their Beach Day almost as much as we enjoyed having them at Pup School. Have a great summer everyone!

Half Day PreK students enjoyed Beach Day today! Thank you to all the parents that donated items and their time to help make this day a success. We could not have done it without you! Full Day PreK students will get their Beach Day tomorrow (Tuesday). Please refer to communication from your child's teacher about what to wear to school and what time to arrive to help with the fun. It should be a beautiful day!

Pup School Teachers felt all the love today! From seeing students in our favorite colors to the fully stocked fridge and snack counter and the amazing chalk art! Thank you!

☀️🗣️ Summer Enrichment Registration is now open! There are a variety of sessions/topics for your student to choose from. Sessions are four days a week in the month of June from 8:30am - 12:15pm. Students may attend one, two, three or all four sessions. Each session costs $125 for EPS students and $150 for out-of-district students (bring your friends)! Because of continued isolated icy roads in parts of our district as well as slick and dangerous parking lots and sidewalks, Edmond Public Schools will move to remote learning for all schools for Thursday, February 13th. Students should refer to information sent by their school site for assignments that will need to be completed for attendance to be counted. We had a special visitor today, Lucas Ross, who you may recognize him from local news and television commercials. Mr Lucas is also good friends with Kermit the Frog! He came to share his love for music and creativity with the kids using his banjo and accordian. We created a funny song together about Old McDonald's cousin Carl McDonald and his zoo!

We play everyday at the Early Childhood Center, but today we participated in the Global School Play Day! We didn't let the cool rainy weather put a damper on the fun either! #GSPD2025

Because of an increasing number of student and staff absences this week, we have made the difficult decision to close school for all Edmond Public Schools for tomorrow, Friday, January 31st. Extracurricular activities will continue as scheduled.   This decision was made in advance to give our families and staff members time to prepare. We will let you know as soon as possible how this instructional time will be made up.   We look forward to seeing your students back in class on Monday morning.

We are so very excited that our very own Secretary Mrs Rogers was honored as representing the District's Core Value of Belonging! She makes everyone from student to staff feel like they belong here at the ECC! Congratulations Mrs Rogers! We love you!

It was "My Art is Me" week at the ECC. We dramatized, danced, sculpted, made instruments, music and so much more, exploring the many ways to be creative!
